I still exist, and have any number of random things to write here
Evolutionary Biology A-
Stems A
Multi-V II A
Abstract Algebra I B+
Putnam Seminar P
E&M A-
E&M lab B+
Cultural Psychology A
All in all, I did much much better than I had any right to expect in at least a handful of these. Others of them are more or less what I expected. And I get to do the happy done with core dance, and go on to a much lighter semester, with free time and such. Or at least I hope so.
On to not-grade things. Thanks to other people on AIM or in LJ land, words like thrift stores and exercise permeated my brain enough to get me to actually do something about them. I went thrift storing and found pants, and a shirt or two. This is good, as I have almost no time to shop during the school year. I should make a point to go on the thrift store runs though, as one can find all sorts of things. I also went for a lovely walk with my grandmother. I was planning on taking her to Professor Java's and maybe even managing to buy her a drink. (though knowing my grandmother, the odds were slim) Sadly, they were closed. Sometime since I graduated high school they've cut back their hours from midnight on school nights and later on weekends, to 6pm every day. Strikes me as utterly silly, as there is nowhere else for teenagers to hang out, so they had a pretty captive audience. It was a nice place. Unfortunately, the odds of my going there again have taken a very sudden dip. We still had a good walk though, and I got to use up some excess energy.
Hmmm, other stuff. I know other stuff existed once, and I was going to write on it. Will post this, then think of other stuff. Can always draw from my little book of random stuff, and see if I can find inspiration for a post with more than what I did over break in it.
Oh, remembered one other stuff. I'm going out to Boston to do the MIT puzzle hunt with a bunch of folks from Mathcamp. If I offered points, I'd give a few to the person who posts the link in the comments, am too lazy to do it right now. It should be lots of fun, though I'll most likely get back to Mudd totally sleepdepped. Prolly not the best planning, but much fun. I get to see a whole bunch of people I'd not otherwise see for 5 or 6 months. Hopefully I'll also be inspired for the Mathcamp puzzle hunt.
