Why am I not an air courier? Not all the time or anything, but over winter break or the random bits of summer. That combined with hostels would be excellent. Who me, random wanderlust? Imagine seeing the world for almost nothing, just because. Maybe I'll look into this seriously...

English teacher. In high demand, especially since you're a native speaker. No knowledge of foreign language required. (seriously. I met someone in Hungary who did this)

Or in Taiwan, or Japan, or many many MANY other countries... you can get away with knowing nothing of the local language (at least, job-wise).

I've heard that, but I've always been a little skeptical. I mean, I wouldn't want to learn a foreign language from someone who spoke no English. I expect I could, but it sure seems like it would be a lot harder on both of us. I suppose it would be better than the other way 'round, though.
