Hitchhiking is Fun and Easy

I hitchhiked an entire 3 blocks today. Well, 7 or 8 by another method of reckoning. I won a nickel off of it as well. We were on the far far end of the 5C and spent most of the walk back trying to get a ride. It succeeded just as we were planning to cut cross where the roads aren't. The people who gave us a ride were quite nice and drove us around to right behind the dorm, rather than the 3 blocks we asked for. It refreshed my faith in humanity, of which I am quite pleased.
