Phone is likely not the best way to reach me for a bit, as I'm going to be moving around a little. My roommate's (former) roommate has evacuated from New Orleans, and is going to need the room I've been in for at least the next week. Fortunately, iluvsheep and zwilichi are letting me stay with them for a bit, while I figure out where I'm living and for how long.

In the meanwhile, job hunting slowly continues. I must say, looking for work is
much much less fun than doing work. In fact, I'm not a big fan of applying for things in general. Pity I can't just do all the things I want all the time. Would make life so much easier.

I *have* managed in my spare time to see nifty people, at the rate of almost 1 more person/day. Lots of fun, now I just need to find housing and employment, so I can settle in a bit more.

She's here and ok, albeit stressed. :) Tulane's not functioning for next semester. There seems to be talk of sending the whole medical school to Dallas in about a week and more talk of people just going to whatever medical school they want. Honestly, the first is more likely. We'll know later next week.
