Well, I have fallen off the face of the earth, more or less. I'm at Mathcamp. Although I maintain the outside still exists, I am in a tiny minority on the issue.
What have I been doing with my time? Just about everything. I've made photocopies, staffed the office, even staffed the computer lab once or twice. I've also been involved in just about every interaction beween the camp and college, acting as the liason.
Of course I've also done many fun things. There was the LARP. It was good fun, though my character ended up being a medic with questionable morals again. (Thats another story) Sadly, I didn't quite manage to derail everything in the first 5 minutes this year. (Again, thats another story) I've also been working on a puzzle hunt. It started at 4 pm yesterday. My team stopped working around 1 or 2 am yesterday, worked a bit more from 8-9 am and again from 12- present. In fact, my team just showed up. Bye.

Date: 2002-08-08 05:05 pm (UTC)I can understand that. You should have seen me when i did WCATY in jr high and high school... my parents never heard from me for the whole 3 weeks. And of course, that was before everybody had email (BE? before email?) so there wasnt even a convenient way to stay in touch with people. (Of course, it was Jr.High and early high school, so i guess i didnt have that many people to stay in contact with...)
