Happy Unbirthday to me! I just recieved one of the coolest birthday presents, and my birthday is still just over a month away. Thats right, I have just recieved the appliance my french dessert cookbook claims every good cook should have: a blowtorch. Now I need to get creme brule ingredients to fulfil my half of the bargin. Jeff, you're totally cool. Thanks for brightening my day.

Blowtorches are considered weapons and must be registered with Campus Safety.

It's quite fun to use (mini-)blowtorches to make creme brule. I've done it before.

Ahh yes, and what kitchen is not complete without a blowtorch? Make sure you get a matching (stylistically) fire extinguisher to go with it... I'm a bit nervous with the idea of Lori going to far with the blowtorch... first it's Creme Brulee, then it'll be cheesecake, then the poor lost cat...! Lori, how COULD you?!?!
Are you going home this summer, btw? I know it's a bit early to be talking about this (haha), but come on, I'm tired of classes! Haha.
