Further Pasa Robles plans

OK - As of right now, I'm flying from Boston to Santa Barbara about 10pm Friday night (April 17), getting my car and driving north for a bit. I'm probably going to stay at a cheap hotel between there and Pasa Robles Friday night, though I can shift things around to meet up with folk. Next morning, I'll drive up to Pasa Robles and again, meet up with folks if possible. (Once I get a little more solid a grip on numbers, I'm going to see if I can get us decent group hotel rates, in which case checking into a hotel will fall somewhere in here - if people want to split rooms, let me know below).
From then until Monday evening, I plan to hunt down artisinel cheeses, tasty food and exciting wines, play board games, and enjoy California in the company of you fine folk. Either Monday evening or Tuesday morning, I'll head south towards the LA area.

I'll have a car available in Pasa Robles, and if it works, am happy to carpool between there and points south, though I have a feeling my schedule will make that a little impractical.

Tis true, I'm heading down from the North with avani and inferno0069, and returning with them.

I'm interested in the group hotel plans, which I think is a great idea. Where did you get such a brilliant plan?
