iluvsheep reminded me real English is easier to understand than fake Academic, and of tauenn's ruthless editing of my Bio lab reports. I *can* write/speak well, but it's much easier to do when I want to share a clear picture in my head, rather just sound smart of convey cloudy or ill-formed ideas. (Well, sometimes it's just habit. Or laziness. I think it's hard to admit clear thinking and clear expression both take effort.)
