Dec. 27th, 2004 11:07 amI've sort of dropped off IM and other timely means of communication lately. I apologize. Its all my body's fault. After a good bit of teasing from my family, I decided to rotate my sleep schedule such that I'd be awake in the daytime. Unfortunately, I got stuck before I got quite there. It appears my body wants to see the hour of 4 am, and doesn't care whether I'm staying up or getting up to do it. As such, I've been waking up at 4 am for 3 or so days in a row now, and in turn, falling asleep at about 8pm, if not earlier. For those who are wondering, this is really annoying, as the number of fun things to do between about 4 am and 10 am are a good bit more limited than those between 10pm and 4 am.
The good news is that I actually managed to go rock climbing yesterday. There is a converted grain building that now has 4 little chimney like rooms with ropes going up. It is very strange, but there is stuff to climb. Other than that, not much is happening. Christmas was fun, the grades I can see are good (I emailed the Biostats prof to let him know my grade hadn't shown up and that some other bio students were missing grades too.), and I've read an enjoyable amount so far.
Hopefully I'll be around on IM at a convenient time to work out travel to Chicago for New Years, and if that doesn't look likely soon, I'll *gasp* use the phone.
