Math makes itself felt

The past week or week and a half have done their best to remind me that math is, indeed a part of my life, and one I both enjoy, and can be good at. I'd been starting to think I might be a biologist who was simply reared as a mathematician, but recent reminders, and the delight I received them with have reminded me how important math is to my life.

The scores aren't the big part. The big thing for me is the reminder that I *am* a mathematician, even if I'm also a biologist. I'd started to forget how much the math part is a fundamental part of me.
