Dec. 15th, 2001 12:25 pmWell, I finally have a Live Journal of my own. I'll try to update it more often than I write the e-mails I intend to write. So, what brings me to do this? Mostly my roommate, who insists I should have an account of my own. The other big reason is that as many people have pointed out, they're great for keeping in touch over long distances.
On a completely unrelated note, for the rest of today and most of tomorrow, there will be streaming audio of the Lord of the Rings-a-Thon, a multi-day reading of all 3 volumes of Lord of the rings, at http://134.173.55.23:8000/. It is currently running around 5 hours behind schedule, so there is a good chance you can still catch it on Monday.
